Hello & Welcome!
I'm comfortable shooting just about anything but my heart truly lies in empowering people with my photography. Each photoshoot I do is a totally unique collaboration between myself and the person or people being photographed. Everyone has a different vision of what they want to illustrate through the photos, and it's up to me to capture not only the client's intended image, but to also capture their true soul essence...which is something that can't be posed, planned or faked.
I'm Frankie Forrest, the creative spirit behind Golden Shadow Photo.
My passion for photography began very early and I've got more than two decades of experience under my belt at this point. I'm an extremely dynamic photographer, constantly in motion, working intuitively to capture all of the angles and perspectives. I've done a little bit of everything so whether I'm photographing a one on one portrait session out in the woods, a loud live performance, a crowded party, or an intimate home birth, I am always confidently thinking on my feet and staying grounded, focused and present.
Even when I'm not behind the camera, my life pretty much revolves around creativity and the outdoors. Many days you'll find me in my garden or in the forest- anywhere I can tune into the natural world. And most nights you can find me nurturing the introvert in me- painting, reading, doing yoga, or watching reruns, and I'm always snuggled up to my fur babes. I lead a simple life that I love guided by my heart and soul, and I couldn't be more grateful to be using my gifts to serve the community.
